Cleo's Story
Cleo is a beautiful St. Bernard mix who we're still getting to know, but each day we're seeing a little more of her personality shine through. She's warming up more daily and beginning to realize she's surrounded by friends.
Cleo is housebroken and has previously lived with children in age from 3 to 18. She can be protective of her home and the people she considers hers, so she'll need a family who understands that side of her and is willing to give her the time and guidance she needs to settle in.
Cleo would do best as the only dog in the home, where she won't have to share her people or her space with another canine companion.
We still think there's a lot to learn about this big girl, and we're looking forward to watching her continue to come out of her shell. Sometimes the dogs who take a little longer to let you in are the ones who make it feel extra special when they finally do.
For additional questions or to schedule a meet and greet, please call 906-632-2519 as messages through social media or not always able to be closely monitored. If you live within Chippewa County you may qualify to take Cleo home on an extended home trial before adoption. In the month of August, Cleo is adoptable for only $50.00
