Cleo's Story

Cleo is 8 months old, weighs 16 pounds, and has never encountered an activity she didn't immediately want to join!

Cleo was relinquished because her previous family could no longer care for her. Despite all the upheaval, she arrived with her confidence intact and her enthusiasm fully charged. This girl is spunky, peppy, and very committed to making sure everybody has fun with her.

She's friendly, social, and gets along great with other dogs too. Cleo loves to run around and play but once she's handled the day's important puppy business she is more than happy to cuddle! She is basically equal parts adventure buddy and affectionate lil shadow, with the proportions changing depending on how recently she woke up.

Cleo does have a history of urinary stones so her future family will need to take her ongoing care seriously. She must remain on her prescription diet and have a urinalysis performed yearly to help make sure she stays healthy. She may have a special menu, but Cleo herself has no idea she is medically interesting. She is too busy investigating what everyone else is doing.

At only 8 months old Cleo still has plenty to learn. Her ideal adopter will be active, patient, and ready to continue her training and socialization as she grows. She needs someone who will give her structure, keep her busy, and bring her along for the fun instead of expecting her to entertain herself all day.

In return, you'll receive one cheerful little sidekick who is always ready to play and eventually willing to settle down for a snuggle session.

Cleo is looking for a family and a permanent spot in the middle of everything. If that sounds like your household, please inquire today!
