Clementine's Story
Sweet Clementine is ready to find her forever family!

Clementine is an approximately 6-year-old Beagle/Hound mix who is smart, loving, laid-back, and just an all-around easy girl to have around.

She’s happiest lounging in the grass, relaxing on a comfy dog bed, going for a nice walk, or simply hanging out near her people. Clementine does well with dogs of all sizes and would be perfectly happy with canine siblings or as the only dog soaking up all the attention. Cats, however, are not her thing, so she’ll need a cat-free home.

Clementine enjoys her walks and does pretty darn well on leash — especially by hound standards! She’s also incredibly intuitive with people and seems to match the energy around her. She’s just as happy enjoying gentle pets and quiet time with her foster mom as she is romping around the house and being silly with her foster dad.

She may not be a full-fledged cuddler quite yet, but she is definitely affectionate. Clementine will come over for pets, lean against you for love, roll over for belly rubs, and is rarely far from her foster parents. We have a feeling that once she knows she’s truly home, cuddling may be next on her list.

Toys appear to be a fairly new concept for Clementine, but she’s starting to show interest and figure out how much fun they can be! She’s also a tall girl and will occasionally put her paws on the edge of a counter or table to investigate, but she’s easily redirected.

Clementine has enjoyed running and playing with other dogs at the dog park and has even joined her foster family for a restaurant patio outing. She takes new experiences in stride and is the kind of dog who can easily fit into everyday life.

This sweet girl is truly easy peasy and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, gentle, go-with-the-flow hound.

- Approximately 6 years old
- Beagle/Hound mix
- Dog friendly
- Cat-free home needed
- House trained
- Crate trained
- Fully vaccinated & vetted

Currently in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
