Clayton's Story

Meet Clayton!

Dont let the white on Claytons face fool ya, he is estimated to be 4-6 years old, but he has plenty of energy and love in him. Clayton loves looking out the window at the birds and lounging outside in the sunshine. In between his lounge sessions, he enjoys walks and meeting EVERYONE!

He has acclimated nicely to living inside a house and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is learning to not pull on the leash and has come a long way in just a few days. He is pretty much housebroken now that he knows the routine.

He is currently fostered with 3 kids (4 yo-10yo) and another dog. He is so good with the kids and loves gently putting his paws on their shoulders for hugs and scratches. He is good with the dog as well, they play together, but also independently. He can live with another dog, but is not dependent on them for confidence or comfort, so he can certainly be the only pet and be just as happy.

Clayton does have the typical hound bay (bark), but only uses it appropriately (thankfully)!

He is a curious boy that is interested in whatever youre doing when food is involved, but responds well to correction. He is completely unfazed by loud noises, bicycles, scooters,dirt bikes, etc.

http://www.coldnosewarmheart.org/dog-application.html
@cnwhnj @coldnosewarmheartnj
