BARC Introduces Claudette the American Bulldog / American Bully who was originally part of a neglected case. She is VERY people friendly but was attacked by male dogs before so she is a little dog selective. <br/><br/>She currently shares her space with a female foxhound who only likes other dogs. <br/><br/>Claudette is a couple of years old and in great health. She has low energy and prefers to lounge most of the day. She would be a great watch dog as her appearance is intimidating despite her loving nature. She would be a great only dog or with another submissive pet. <br/><br/>She is a big girl but doesnt require a huge space. Her face and coat are so pretty. <br/><br/>"She has a very loving demeanor and will truly make someone an amazing pet. You can just feel how much she loves you when she hugs you! I dont know how she is still here almost a year later. She is being patient though. Just watches us all around the rescue waiting for her turn. In the meantime, she is an emotional support dog for her pen mate who is terrified of people. Claudette treats her like she is her baby. I call Claudette my Nana dog because of that. She is so nice and loving towards her. My heart breaks for Claudette. She was bones when animal control got her and somehow still found a way to nurse her puppies. That counties animal control contacted us and we had to say yes. You wouldnt believe her transformation if you saw the pictures. She deserves so much. She would be great alone for hours while you are at work, just snoozing her day away while she waits on you. Some dogs really dont require much, just your love when you are home and Claudette is that dog. I hope she gets considered soon. No one has even met her since coming to us. It makes me so sad because i get a front seat to how amazing she is.
