Clark's Story

COURTESY POST:<br/>Meet Clark. Clark is a 6-month-old chocolate & tan fluffy French Bulldog male puppy looking for his forever home. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on all vaccinations - ready to start his next chapter. He currently weighs 23 pounds and is growing into a handsome little guy. His ears are floppy - they just never went completely up. Personally, we think he is just as cute with them floppy. He is extremely sweet and loving and absolutely adores his people. He may take a little time to warm up at first, but once he does, he is ridiculously sweet and will want to be right by your side. He has been around other dogs and does well. He's curious about cats and may chase them trying to play, so a home that understands that adjustment period would be best. Our cats have smacked at him and he was respectful of them after. He is crate trained, though he may need a short adjustment period to get used to a new routine. He does get crated when we aren't home or when we cannot fully supervise him. He has been in the car and rides well. He also tolerates baths and nail trims - even if they're not exactly his favorite thing. Please remember - he is still very much a puppy. He will need continued help with house training, leash training, basic obedience, and learning how to be a well-mannered member of the family. Please understand that he is JUST A PUPPY who will do puppy things -- chew, be under your feet, etc. He will thrive in a home that is patient, consistent, and ready to invest the time into helping him grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate little shadow to add to your family and are prepared for the commitment of raising a young pup, he may be your perfect match. If you do not live alone, please talk to your family/significant other/etc before inquiring. Please understand this is a courtesy post. Clark is located near Alexandria, IN and his adoption fee is $1,000. This dog is not with our rescue - as this is a courtesy post.
