What is IndyHumane’s adoption process?

Those interested in one of our animals should come into the shelter to fill out an application in person. After filling out the application, a counselor will review the animal's medical and behavior information with the potential adopter. The potential adopter will have a chance to meet with the animal outside of their kennel (when applicable), and generally adoptions can be processed so that the animal can go home the same day.
