Sweet Momma Clarice is starting to accept applications for her furever home. This sweet girl was found on the streets by a good Samaritan very pregnant and they asked us to bring her into the rescue. Thankfully we connected with her when we did because momma had 5 healthy babies by the next morning! Not only was Clarice a good Momma to her babies, but she even accepted an orphaned 1 week old pup and allowed her to nurse right along with her babies. Now that she has weaned her babies she is looking for her furever home. She is a 21 lb chihuahua american bully mix (DNA completed). Clarice is now spayed so fortunately no more babies in her future. She has had her rabies vaccine and DAPP along with microchipped. Clarice is such a happy girl and she gets along with all the dogs in her foster home, both big and small. She never meets a stranger, she has a happy dance and a bark hello with a tail wag for everyone. She loves playing with toys, especially de-stuffing them. She is house trained, crate trained and learning how to walk on a leash. Clarice is very food motivated so she should be a quick learner with basic commands.
