Clara's Story

Meet Clara!
Clara is estimated to be around 2 years old, and she's one of the sweetest dogs I've fostered. She came to our rescue from a local, overcrowded shelter along with her 8 puppies, and she was a great mom to every one of them. Now that her pups are weaned, it's finally Clara's turn to get some spoiling of her own, and she's been taking to it very well.

Clara loves curling up on the couch, chasing squirrels, and keeping a close eye on the neighborhood from the window. She's gentle, curious, and very affectionate. She's also fully house-trained and crate-trained, so she'll settle into a new routine easily. Her favorite part of the day? Evenings on the couch. She'll burrow into the blankets and lean in close to make sure she never misses her bedtime snuggles

One important thing to know: Clara is quick to take off chasing a squirrel or neighborhood cat so a securely fenced in yard or an owner committed to keeping her on leash when outside will be the best fit.

Clara is ready to join your family and fill your home with love and companionship!

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
