Clammy's Story

Miss Clammy <3 This big sweet lady has very fast become a shelter favorite, found roaming all by herself and after multiple weeks of no one claiming her we have decided to find her a new place where hopefully she won't be forgotten. Clammy didn't come with her name and it took days to decide, with her very shy demeanor and inability to look most people in the eye she just reminded us of the embodiment of "clammy hands". Don't let the name steer you away though, this girl is amazing at everything we try her with, she seems to not care about anything other than the people she's with!

Clammy hasn't been tried traditionally with other dogs yet but has zero reaction to any dog that she passes in the yards or dogs that she shares a fence with. She does not bark unless the people she loves leave her alone and she will usually stop when they are out of sight. She didn't have any reaction to cats in our cat building and although you can tell she was very scared and uncomfortable in her first days here, she never made us feel weary or like we couldn't handle her.

This hefty girl weighs in over 100lbs and could benefit from a diet and steady exercise, she loves going for strolls and has been perfect on leash for us! Give this extra large girl a chance to take up very little space in your life, she tries her best to be as unnoticeable as possible so don't overlook her! She's perfect!

Fill out an application at: https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/adopt.html

(All animals adopted out of CGHS are spayed/neutered, up to date on annual vaccines including rabies, and microchipped)
