Claire's Story
Fostered In: Centralia, WA
Adoption Fee: $450
Vaccines: Bordetella, DAPP+ Lepto
WILL BE Spayed, Microchipped, Dewormed, Treated for Fleas

Meet Claire - Sweet, Sensitive & Full of Personality

This puppy is currently eligible for our foster-to-adopt program because they have not yet been spayed. We believe puppies should be able to begin bonding and learning with their forever families as early as possible. Through foster-to-adopt, the puppy goes home with their approved family as a foster and returns for their scheduled spay appointment, at which time the adoption is finalized. Because the puppy must be returned the night before their surgery, foster-to-adopt families must live reasonably close to Centralia so transportation is manageable.

Claire is an approximately 5-month-old puppy, believed to be a husky/shepherd mix, who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She also had a rough start in life with very little socialization, but with time and patience she is beginning to blossom in her foster home. Claire can be nervous with new people and environments and will need a calm, patient home that allows her to move at her own pace as she builds confidence. She is currently in a quieter foster home with other dogs and does well with dogs of all sizes, often finding comfort in their presence. While she may be shy at first, once she feels safe her personality truly shines - she is a funny, affectionate little girl who loves to snuggle and absolutely adores squeaky toys. Claire does not enjoy being picked up or carried, so she does best with gentle guidance and positive reinforcement. She will need a home committed to continuing her confidence-building and helping her navigate new experiences in a supportive way.

Claire has already made so much progress, and we know-just like her sister-that she will continue to grow and flourish in a loving forever home if given the chance.
