CJ's Story
Guess who is ready?? Its CJ

Sweet CJ (3 months old, 8 lbs) came to us with his mom Clepto and a more adorable pair you couldnt imagine! But at just 5 weeks he required emergency surgery for a rectal prolapse... and then again at 7 weeks! This poor baby spent more time at the vet in his first few months of life than many dogs do in their first year!!

Because of that, we have held onto him much longer than we normally would to be sure he is healthy, happy, and stable for adoption. It has now been more than a month since his last surgery and we feel like he is ready to find his forever home! His adopters will need to be prepared, however. Having a rectal prolapse once in his life does increase his likelihood of it happening again. Any adopter should be capable of paying for vet bills and be able to pay for his specialized food which he will need for the rest of his life.

If that is you, however, CJ is a darling boy! He is a happy go lucky puppy in every sense! He loves people, plays beautifully with doggy friends, and happily coexists with cats. This boy is a doll who will enrich the lives of his new family ten fold!

Adoption 695
Fixed vaccinated and microchipped
Fostered in Eugene or

We will vet his adopters carefully to ensure they can meet any future medical needs
