CJ's Story

Meet CJ, a 18-month-old Great Dane who is the ultimate definition of a "Gentle Giant." Found wandering alone in a field, CJ arrived in our care extremely underweight and suffering from injuries to his legs. Despite the pain he must have been in, his sweetness never wavered. He allowed the vet and our team to provide all necessary medical treatment without a single complaint, proving himself to be an incredibly patient and sweet-natured pup who simply loves being around people.Because of his history as a stray, CJ is currently a bit of a blank slate. He recently met a young child (around 8 years old) and did very well. While we know he adores humans, we haven't yet tested him with other dogs, and his level of formal training is unknown. He will need a dedicated owner who can provide him with the structure, soft bedding, and high-quality nutrition a growing Great Dane requires. He was neutered on 3/17 so is ready to go to his forever home. If you have room in your heart (and on your sofa) for this big, lovable boy, his adoption fee is $350.

Please visit our website www.petsnpals.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
