**MUST BE ADOPTED WITH ANNIE** Introducing Cissy. They came to our rescue after their owner passed away. Annie & Cissy have lived their whole lives together, so they must be adopted together. We are not disrupting their life more than necessary. Cissy is approximately 7-9 years old. Cissy: is more reserved, and does not have a high confidence level. She does enjoy more pets than Annie, but is not overly demanding. She loves to talk & is super vocal. Thankfully, her foster mom says it's not a barky vocal! Cissy likes toys and has picked out one that she carries around as her comfort toy. It will be going with her when she leaves, to make the transition easier. Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy

We place companion animals in loving, responsible, committed homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. Our adoption fees vary because of the breed size, and normal vet cost. This is intended to cover the costs of having the animal fully vetted and the costs of caring for the animal prior to placement in a home. Many of the animals we help have veterinary costs which are much higher than the adoption fee. For these animals, we rely on donations and small fundraisers to offset those costs.

Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue organization serving Marshall County, Alabama and the surrounding geographic area. We are dedicated to rescuing companion animals left homeless for whatever reason – animals in public shelters where they are at high risk of being destroy...
