Cinnamon's Story

Meet Cinnamon

If sweetness could be bottled up and turned into a dog, her name would be Cinnamon.

Cinnamon is about 5 years old and weighs around 20 pounds full grown — the perfect little size for just about any home. She is definitely a dachshund and hound mix of some sort. We keep hearing bluetick mix. But what makes her truly special isn't her size... it's her heart.

Cinnamon came from the hoarding case in Louisiana where 36 dogs were living inside an RV with no electricity and no running water. Despite coming from a life with no structure, no stability, and very little comfort, Cinnamon is one of the most gentle, kind, and grateful dogs you will ever meet.

She is:
• Heartworm negative
• Spayed
• Up to date on vaccines and preventions
• Great with other dogs
• Gentle with children
• Doing amazing with crate training
• Learning structure and routine beautifully

She only had a couple accidents the first few days (which is completely expected considering she came from zero structure), and since then she has done wonderfully.

Everyone who meets these hoarding dogs says the same thing:
They are unbelievably sweet, loving, gentle, and grateful.
Cinnamon is the perfect example of that. She has the softest soul and the kindest personality. She just wants to be near you, be loved, and finally live the life she always deserved.

Cinnamon has been through a lot, but you would never know it by the way she loves. She deserves a home where she will be cherished, spoiled, and loved for the rest of her life.

If you are looking for a gentle, loving, loyal companion, Cinnamon is your girl. Please fill out an adoption application if you would like to have her join your family. Her $300 adoption fee covers medical up to adoption to include vaccines, spay, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY.
