What is APET Rescue and Kennels Inc.’s adoption process?

To fill out an adoption application, please visit our main profiles on Petstablished/Wagtopia (link listed below). Once the application is submitted, the Adoption Committee will review your responses and contact you within 2-3 days, at most. This follow-up may include an immediate approval, denial, or additional clarifications. Once the written application is approved, we require a home-check (virtual/photos or live walk-through). If the application and home check are all approved, we will work with you to set an adoption appointment! There is an automatic two-week trial period to ensure the adoption is a good match, before everything finalizes. **Please note, adoption matches are approved for BEST fit with each animal, not necessarily the first application to come in. If you are not approved, you may always ask for a reason, but please respect our decision that puts the animal first. Our Adoption Fees (updated July 2022) Dogs: $225-230 Cats: $130-135
