Cindy Lou's Story

Cindy Lou is incredibly loyal, deeply connected to her people, and happiest when she’s right by your side - a true velcro dog! She is a small but mighty little character with a big personality and even bigger hair (we’re pretty sure she feels extra brave when she rocks her Mohawk!). Since leaving the shelter, she has blossomed in foster care and continues gaining confidence every day.

Lou can be a little anxious when left alone, but she’s making amazing progress with routine, reassurance, and her favourite window perch where she watches for her people to come home. She is looking for a home where someone is home often, due to her anxious nature.

She loves spending time outside, especially running the fence line and “playing” with the neighbour’s dog. While she does well with most dogs, she prefers calm, respectful companions and can get overwhelmed by overly intense personalities.

On walks, Cindy Lou sticks close to her people and clearly feels safest near them. She already knows sit, lay down, and high five 🐾

Cindy Lou is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping her build confidence while appreciating her sweet, sensitive, and hilarious personality. 🩵

Adoption Fee: $425
Includes microchip, spay/neuter, vaccines, and deworming.

Please note: We adopt to force-free homes only, and the adoptive family must continue using force-free training methods after adoption.

👉 Apply here:
https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSe4dRmoB0mwnB.../viewform

Dogs truly become part of our family, which is why here at PAWS, we are dedicated to helping pets stay in their forever homes through our application vetting process. We carefully review each application in search of the best match for every dog that comes into our care. Let's talk commitment!
