There were 11 of us who all got sick, but thanks to SIRA and a very kind vet who took us in after our breeder would not pay for treatment, we all survived! I had some fur loss, but it’s growing back nicely. Now I’m healthy, spayed and vaccinated, and weigh 19 lbs. I’m a good girl in the house – potty trained and I sleep through the night well. Foster dad says I’m super-smart. I’ve learned the routines and expectations here in my foster home really quickly like mealtimes, bedtime, and what we do when foster dad goes out. Predictable schedule and consistency really help me adapt. I’m not shy about expressing my opinions – and I have plenty of them. You will know if I find something objectionable. I’d do well with an experienced dog person familiar with Shiba Inu personalities. There are other dogs here in my foster home, and I’m good with some of them.
