Cinder's Story

Meet Cinder!

This very sweet girl and her sister came to us from a not great place in not great shape. Cinder's skin and coat were in terrible condition due to poor living conditions and allergies. With medicated baths, allergy medicine, appropriate food, and diligent care, she has shown massive improvement!

Cinder is an incredibly outgoing and friendly young girl. She does well playing with dogs that she knows, but is a little nervous when meeting new ones.

Cinder recently went on a Dog Day Out with a couple of our volunteers. Here's what they had to say, "Cinder! It was wonderful to watch her — looking and feeling healthier after the loving care from the HSH staff — enjoy being her playful puppy self, sniffing, running, and taking in everything around her. She was a little unpredictable on the leash (lol), but she’s a quick learner and I’m sure she’ll be a pro with just a bit more practice.
She wasn’t reactive to squirrels or birds at all, but she was very eager to meet and greet every human who passed by. She is a happy pup with an incredibly cute face and an absolutely sweet personality!"

Female
10 months
36.1 lbs

-------------
Interested in adopting? The BEST way to adopt is to come meet the pet in person at the shelter and fill out an application while you’re here. No appointment needed!

Please note: in-person adopters who have already met the animal get first priority, and sometimes pets are adopted before we’re able to contact online applicants.
