Cinder's Story
Cinder - Female
Weight: approx. 10kg
Age: 1-2 years

Meet Cinder! Cinder is a small-to-medium-sized black and brown girl with an adorable curly tail and a serious love for cuddles. Although she can be shy and skittish when meeting new people, she warms up with time, patience, and the help of confident canine friends.

Once Cinder feels safe, her sweet and silly personality shines! She loves snuggling on the couch, sitting on her favourite people, and flopping onto her back in someone’s lap like a baby. As her confidence has grown in foster care, she’s also started showing off her playful side and adorable zoomies. It has been wonderful to watch her become her silly young self as she’s come out of her shell.

Cinder is gentle and calm around small children and toddlers, and she has done wonderfully with the cats in her foster home. She shows no reaction or prey drive toward them, even when they walk right past her.

Cinders ideal home would include a calm, confident dog who can help show her the ropes and teach her that life in a home is wonderful. She’ll need a patient family who understands that building trust takes time and will give her the space and encouragement to settle in at her own pace.

Cinder is still learning about the world and is afraid of the leash, so she’ll need a family willing to work on leash skills gradually and gently. She is also not a fan of car rides, or loud noises, but she is improving with exposure.

Cinder has so much love to give once she feels safe. She’s looking for a home where she can continue to grow in confidence, embrace her goofy side, and spend her days doing what she loves most: cuddling with her people.

Adoption fee is $295. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated.
