At Big Dogs Don’t Cry Inc., we are committed to finding loving, permanent homes for our rescued animals. To ensure a successful adoption process, we have established the following guidelines for potential adopters: 1. Application Process Interested adopters must complete an adoption application, providing information about their living situation, experience with pets, and lifestyle. 2. Home Visit A home visit may be conducted to assess the suitability of the environment for the animal being adopted. 3. Adopter Qualifications Adopters must be at least 21 years old. All household members must agree to the adoption. Renters must provide proof of pet policy from their landlord. 4. Compatibility We encourage potential adopters to meet with the animal to ensure compatibility. This may include a meet-and-greet with any existing pets. 5. Adoption Fee An adoption fee is required to help cover the costs of veterinary care, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering. 6.
