Cilantro's Story

Cilantro is a handsome 2 year old husky mix who has been waiting for his forever family since September 2025. Shelter life has been especially hard on him, and the stress of being in a kennel can make his first impression a little overwhelming. He's now in a foster home, and the moment he got outside the shelter walls, you see the real Cilantro: a happy, social, affectionate dog who is full of life and love.

Cilantro recently spent two weeks previously in a different foster home, where he proved to be a wonderful companion. His foster described him as a great dog who simply had a bit too much playful energy for a toddler. He would do best in a home with children over 6 years old and with an active family ready to include him in their adventures. This sweet boy absolutely loves other dogs, rolling around in the grass, pup cups, and soaking up attention and affection. Like many huskies, Cilantro is athletic and clever he can jump a 6-foot chain-link fence so hell need either a secure non-chain-link fence or supervision while outside.

He is potty trained and kennel trained and has been a perfect gentleman in his new foster home. He loves treats, toys, and getting pets!

Cilantro is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
