Cilantro's Story

Meet Cilantro Cilantro is a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a few minutes and he'll decide you're probably not a serial treat-withholder. He gets along great with other dogs and firmly believes every pup he meets is a potential best friend. His hobbies include collecting snacks, searching for snacks, thinking about snacks, and convincing humans he hasn't been fed in at least three business days. Cilantro does wonderfully in his crate and treats it like his own personal studio apartment. When he's not relaxing at home, you'll find him tearing around the yard with his sister in a full-speed zoomie competition that nobody asked for but everyone enjoys watching. This energetic little guy is powered by equal parts puppy enthusiasm, mischief, and snacks. Lots and lots of snacks. If you're looking for a fun-loving sidekick who can go from shy gentleman to zoomie champion in record time, Cilantro is your pup! Current on DHPPV vaccinations, deworming, and microchipped. The Furry Farm Rescue's Adoption Policy

When you see an animal you would like to find out more about and meet, please go fill out our adoption application to start the process. Our adoptions are not first come first served, but a match of the needs of the animal with the best potential adopter. You can expect to hear from us within a week or two after submitting your application. With review of your application, we conduct a phone interview, check references, and speak to your veterinarian. During that process we will also schedule a time for you to come meet and get to know your new furry friend. If you have other animals, we will want to do intros at that time. We then ask you to take a few days to think about it and let us know. Next, we come to your house and do a last meet and greet before finalizing the adoption. All adopters sign a contract with the Furry Farm Rescue. All of our adoptions come with a 2 week trial period for dogs, and 1 week for cats. This allows you and your new furry friend some time to bond and decide if this is a forever family. Our Adoption fees vary between $50 to $275 for dogs, and cats are $40 to $60. Each pet’s fee will be listed in their biography.
