In the yard, she kept her ears slightly back and was cautious, yet she continued coming over to me for pets. She would sit right between my legs and gently nudge me for attention, showing that even though she was unsure, she really wanted to connect.<br/><br/>-She loves treats and takes them incredibly gently. She knows how to sit, too! As she became more comfortable, the kisses started coming, and by the end of our time together she had relaxed enough to lie between my legs and completely flip over for belly rubs. <br/><br/>-Inside, I got to see more of her personality peek out. She did a few little zoomies, then would suddenly freeze as if she wasn't quite sure whether she was allowed to have that much fun. When I stopped petting her, she would slowly and gently paw at me for more. And, of course, there were plenty more kisses.<br/><br/>-She's definitely coming around, but she's still a nervous girl who needs someone willing to move at her pace and give her the patience and reassurance she needs. Even her walks are slow and cautious right now--she loves to stop and sniff, and sometimes puts on the brakes when she needs a little encouragement.<br/><br/>-There's a sweet, affectionate girl in there, and she's already giving little glimpses of her playful and cuddly side.
