Meet Chummy! <br/><br/>Chummy is an almost 6-year-old female Cavalier Spaniel who weighs 28 pounds. She is a puppy mill survivor and filled with nothing but love and affection despite her traumatic start to life. She is more than ready to leave her past behind her and enjoy her new life & family!<br/><br/>Chummy is loving, sweet & silly! She is fostered with another dog and a cat - and does great with them both! She is still working on her potty training and will need time to adjust to a new routine. She enjoys exploring and running around in a fenced-in backyard. Chummy is low energy and content to spend her day relaxing around the house. She is still working on her leash training and will need some time to get used to going on walks. <br/><br/>She prefers to follow her foster parents from room to room around the house and snuggle close to them on the couch. She also enjoys napping in a cozy dog bed and carrying stuffed animals (or shoes!) to her bed. Chummy has not yet met a stranger she hasn't immediately loved and greets everyone with a hug! Chummy came into rescue overweight and will need an adopter dedicated to continue her weight loss journey. <br/><br/>Chummy is ready to share her big heart with her forever family!
