Chulo German Shepherd Dog Lafayette, CA

Meet 8yr old and 85lb silly guy Chulo. Poor guy found himself at a high kill central valley shelter super confused after his family passed away. He was in rough shape but after good diet and love he is looking great. He is very friendly and seeks attention. He has a great personality and loves everyone. He is very dog social both big and large. His original home he lived in had cats, but he does bug them and want to play so best with no cats or very dog savvy cats. He is doing well on house and crate training. He needs a family who understands he is a senior and will eventually have a hard time with stairs.

Thank you for reading about our awesome dog. All dogs came to us from different situations and we often do not know much about their past, but they are rescue dogs who deserve a second chance and need patience on their journey. All of our dogs our are in foster homes all across the bay area.

The first step of the process is you must submit an application in order to set up a meet and great or talk with the foster family. Once application is submitted the foster parents will contact you to chat more about the dog and make sure they're a good fit and can answer any further question. The application answers most of all of our questions and can best match you. If you do not get the dog you apply for we can use your same application for 90 days towards another dog in our care and simply forward your app to that foster parent.

All dogs will be fully vetted (Spay/ Neutered, Micro chipped, DHPP and Rabies Vaccinated) and other possible vet care prior to adoption.

The adoption fee is $300, which is considered a non refundable donation
