You have a playful, silly friend for life! <br/><br/>Chucho is a 2-year-old little guy who came to us when his elderly owner was no longer able to care for him. He came in swinging, let me tell you! As he has settled in here, he has become a fun, friendly little guy, but he will take a little patience as he settles into his new home. <br/><br/>He will definitely be a "leave the leash on," "hands off for the first day or two" kind of guy. Your patience will be rewarded with a loyal, playful buddy who likes to bury himself in blankets and show his stuffed toys who's boss. <br/><br/>If you are looking for a feisty sidekick, Chucho is your man! <br/><br/><br/>We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires. <br/><br/>We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. <br/><br/>Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. <br/><br/>Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
