Chris's Story
Meet Chris! He is a 1.5yo, 51lb young husky who checks all the good-boy boxes and then some. Heartworm negative and happy to be handled from nose to tail, Chris allows full body handling and restraint with ease... he is confident, trusting, and people-friendly.

He is a social butterfly at the shelter and a regular in playgroup, where he thrives with both male and female dogs. Chris loves ruff-and-tumble play and keeps things fun and appropriate. On leash, he shows off his signature prance... walking nicely and making every stroll a little more joyful.

Cat curious? Hardly! Chris did very well in cat testing; he gave cats their space, resisted being pulled toward them, showed minimal interest when one popped up, and calmly chose to walk away. With proper introductions and continued training, Chris could be a great fit for a cat-friendly home.

Important note... Chris will need a secure, privacy fence, as he is a climber and would do best in a safely enclosed yard where his adventurous spirit is protected.

Playful, polite, and well-rounded, Chris is that perfect mix of husky fun and good manners—ready to prance his way into a forever home. 🐾💙🎉

For additional information or an adoption or foster application please email... kaleidoscopek9s@yahoo.com
