Welcome Chowder! Chowder is a handsome 9-month-old whose family found the challenges of a basset puppy were simply too much on top of their other responsibilities. Although they loved him, they knew Chowder would be happier with a family experienced with all the quirks— and chaos! —that come with being a basset puppy.<br/>Chowder is a perfect gentleman with other dogs he meets on his walks and also with cats. While he likes his leash walks, he would really love a backyard of his own, however.<br/>He has the concept of housetraining, although is working on the finer points. We’ll be working to get Chowder up-to-date medically, and also see if we can address his allergies.<br/>We’re looking forward to watching this handsome boy grow, learn, and find his forever family.
