Chord's Story

Meet Chord!

Chord is a bright and friendly Cattle Dog mix who came to us through our rescue partners at Austin Pets Alive!. He's still settling in, and we are continuing to get to know him as he adjusts to his new environment and learns that he is safe.

So far, Chord is showing a social and approachable personality, and we believe that with proper introductions he has the potential to do well with cats, dogs, and kids. Like many Cattle Dog mixes, he will likely benefit from structure, enrichment, and an active home that can keep his smart mind engaged.

As we learn more about him, we will continue to update his bio. For now, Chord is looking for a patient, loving home that can help him build confidence, continue his training, and set him up for success as a wonderful lifelong companion.

Chord is availibe for foster-to-adopt within 30 minutes of our shelter while we complete his medical.

All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
