Now Chopper is ready for a fresh start with a family who will love him for life.<br/><br/>At first, Chopper can be a bit hesitant and nervous when meeting new people, but don't let that fool you—once he realizes you're a friend, he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, attention-seeking companion. When he's comfortable, his energetic and playful side shines through!<br/><br/>Chopper would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as he loves having the freedom to run and explore at his own pace. He hasn't had much practice with leash walking, so he will need a patient adopter who is willing to help him learn that walks can be one of life's greatest joys.<br/><br/>He enjoys spending time with his people and would likely do well with other dogs. Furever Tails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our primary adoption area is within the state of Michigan. We are currently not adopting out of state. Applications must be completed and approved prior to meeting or adopting an animal. You must be 18 years or older to adopt. All members of the family must be present in order to adopt. We want to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone! The applicant must be willing to undergo reference checks and a visit to the home where the dog will reside. Renters must provide a copy of their lease (including pet policy). All current canine/feline must be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. All dogs must be on heartworm preventative and felines must be FeLV/FIV tested. A vet reference is required on all previous and current pets.
