Chopper's Story

Meet Chopper
Chopper is a 2-year-old Boxer with a big heart and an even bigger smile. He came to us after his previous family faced financial hardship and could no longer afford his food and medical care. Transitions like that can be confusing for a young dog, but Chopper has handled it like a champ.

In our care, staff have observed Chopper to be friendly, calm, and people-oriented. He enjoys human company and settles nicely once he's comfortable. Like many young Boxers, Chopper still has some learning to do-his former home reported behaviors such as chewing and excessive barking, which are common signs of boredom, stress, or not having enough outlets for energy.

With consistent structure, enrichment, and positive training, Chopper is expected to thrive. He'll do best with an adopter who understands the Boxer breed, is patient, and ready to help him continue learning good habits. In return, Chopper offers affection, loyalty, and that classic goofy Boxer charm.

If you're looking for a sweet, steady companion who just needs a fresh start and a little guidance, Chopper might be your guy.
