Meet Chong!<br/><br/>We believe he is around 5 to 6 years old. Chong came to us as an owner surrender because his previous family had too many Chihuahuas. Because he was not socialized with many people, he was initially very shy when he arrived at the shelter a couple of months ago. However, our volunteers have been working with him daily, and he has made incredible progress!<br/><br/>Chong is currently being fostered at one of our volunteers' homes to help him get used to more stimulation and human interaction. Since moving to his foster home, he discovered toys for the first time ever and quickly got a case of the zoomies! He sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate and loves to happily snooze next to you on the couch.<br/><br/>Please note that Chong has a strong sensitivity to cigarette smoke and gets terrified around people who smoke. Because we need to ensure what is best for him so he can enjoy a happy, carefree life, we are requiring a strictly smoke-free home for his adoption.<br/><br/>Chong has come a long way and will be ready for his new forever home soon! If you are interested in learning more or setting up a time to meet him, please let us know.<br/><br/>All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter and a one year rabies vaccine.<br/><br/>Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.<br/><br/>Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.<br/><br/>Pet Adoption League<br/><br/>1526 N.
