Chocolate Chunk AKA Churro, is a true chihuahua through and through. A tiny guy with a BIG personality! He is loyal, loving, hilarious, and will happily be your little shadow. His foster says he's a "manly man" with no fear, the cutest little ear flap, and a trot that will make you smile every single day.<br/><br/>This guy loves his people and is happiest when he's by your side. He enjoys walks, lounging in the sunshine, snuggling, and (of course) anything involving treats! He's a smart little guy who loves using his snuffle mat and is always ready for his next adventure.<br/><br/>This energetic little dude enjoys running and playing with his chihuahua foster sibling, and they have become the cutest pair; sharing beds, playing together, and figuring out how to share the best dog bed in the house.<br/><br/>Chocolate Chunk is also a fantastic little travel buddy! He does great in the car and rides relaxed and happy, ready to go wherever his person takes him.<br/><br/>Chocolate Chunk does best with someone who understands that he's a true chihuahua with a big heart and some big opinions. He can be selective with his dog friends and may need slow introductions with other pups. He's a little protective of his home space, but out and about he loves meeting people and does wonderfully at events. He's also been great with kids who respect his boundaries.<br/><br/>Chunk joined us after he landed at Contra Costa Animal Services as a stray. Due to the shelter's full status and his senior age, he was the perfect addition to the POMDR pack!
