Chocolate's Story

You cannot find a better socialized and trained one year old dog than this! Chocolate has been with us since he was 8 weeks old. He's lived with his foster in a house with multiple dogs, so he gets along with all kinds of dogs. He's also been to adoption fairs frequently since he was a puppy, so he's great at being calm at breweries or crowded events. He's met and been friendly with strangers, kids, anyone really! Did we mention yet that he's also completed puppy training school? Not only is he calm and gentle, he's also a total cuddle bug. Upon first meeting most people, he jumps in their lap, curls up and gives kisses. He's an excellent balance of cuddly, excitable, but also adaptable when it's time to chill out.

He is the last available puppy from the Stockton 8 litter, that were found fending for themselves on the streets of Stockton. Through no fault of his own, his siblings were chosen before him even though everyone comments at adoption fairs that they're so surprised he hasn't been scooped up yet!

Choco knows all the basic commands and is house trained. He also rides really well in a car.

His leash training just needs a little more practice.

Needless to say,
Chocolate is all vetted and ready for his forever family. Don't miss out on being able to take home a 1 year old rescue dog whose history is completely known!
