Chocolata's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Chocolata is a 1-year-old, 35–40 lb sweetheart who came to Minnesota from Mexico, where she was found as a puppy with rickets due to malnutrition. She’s since made a full recovery with no lasting effects and is ready for her forever home!

She can be shy and unsure at first, but once she gets to know you, her tail starts wagging and her gentle personality shines through. Having another dog really helps her confidence—she follows their lead and becomes a much more relaxed, happy pup. She gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playing with other dogs - she's a sweetheart with everyone she's met!

Chocolata still has some puppy energy (a little jumping here and there!) and is doing well in her kennel. She’d thrive in a patient home, ideally with a canine buddy, where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe. Chocolata keeps a tidy kennel, is doing great on potty training, and is learning that walking on a leash to go for adventures is fun.

With a little time and love, Chocolata will be a loyal and loving companion.

If you would like to learn more about Chocolata, please submit an interest form on our website:

https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/

If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE.

http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org

redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com

https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue

*Adoption fee for Chocolata is $525 + MN state tax*

All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.

*Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*
