Chloe-<br/><br/>Sweet, beautiful Miss Chloe is a 3 year old Staffordshire Terrier, weighing in at about 50 lbs.<br/><br/>Chloe is a gentle, loving & adaptable dear. <br/><br/>She wants nothing more than to be near her people and will fold herself into the smallest, cutest snuggle bean you've ever seen. She's excitable & affectionate with every human she meets and has been extensively socialized with other animals of all kinds. She's never met a friend she didn't love and does well with all humans she encounters. <br/><br/>Chloe has no idea how big she actually is, so she can accidentally tumble small children in her excitement to say hello. She has never shown any signs of aggression, she's just a big goofball who forgets her own size.<br/>She's a great car ride companion, too!<br/><br/>Training: Chloe is kennel trained and has been working on fully transitioning to outdoor potty breaks. She can have occasional regressions or excitement accidents, but she's made real progress. <br/>She's learning sit and shake, tries hard to be a good listener & does really well with puzzle toys and sniff walks. She does pull some on leash but is improving every day! <br/><br/>Like any young dog, Chloe genuinely thrives on mental stimulation. She loves her puzzle toys and treat balls & will happily work through one on her own for a while, she doesn't need someone hovering over her to stay entertained. Sniff walks are one of her favorite things, and she gets so much out of just being able to explore at her own pace & take in every smell along the way. She does best with some kind of enrichment built into her day, whether that's a treat puzzle to solve solo or a slower walk where she gets to sniff everything in sight.<br/><br/>Food: Chloe is highly food motivated, likely from time spent living on the streets. She is not food aggressive at all. She will actually let another dog steal her food & just look sad about it instead of reacting. She currently eats homemade food, but transitions to kibble without any issues.<br/><br/>Care notes: She has some sensitive skin around her eyes that does well with a balm. She'll come with a supply for her! She's not a fan of nail trims or bath time, but treats make both manageable.<br/><br/>Chloe is micro-chipped, spayed & current on all her vaccines.<br/><br/>Help us to find a place for this bright light to shine by applying to foster or adopt @ PrairieSongRescue.org.
