Chloe's Story
9/12/25

Foster or Foster to adopt home needed!

Chloe is ~8 years old and 8#. She came from the same home as Layla, but they are not a bonded pair. Chloe is shy and in need of some dental care and to be spayed. She would likely do best in an adult home where she can retire, lap sit and enjoy the simple things in life. She was loaded with fleas on intake and missing some fur but she has had a good a flea treatment and hopefully will never face neglect like that again. She will need a home willimgbto give her some extra TLC and allow her body and mind to heal from her previous neglect. She has been examined, vaccinated, 4dx tested and treated for external parasites. She will be spayed and have a dental soon but we would like her to go to a foster or foster to adopt home soon.

Due to her size, activity level and age, foster to adopt requirements are:

-Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.
-Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.
-Being able to bring her back to our vets office in Adams for additional care and spay prior to adoption (if not already done). After adoption, we recommend taking her to your current vet to be established.
-She is very shy so homes with older children, if any, are being recommended.
- She came from a home that had other pets so she should be okay with like sized dogs but we will do meet and greets with other dogs from the potential adopters home to be sure there are no problems.
-Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.
-Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.
-An adoption donation of $275 for Chloe is being asked since she is a senior, if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free. She had her initial vet check, is current on vaccines, dewormings and prescription flea and tick medications and she will be spayed and get a dental cleaning prior to adoption.

The first step in our adoption process is the veterinary reference check so please be sure to call your veterinarian's office first thing in the morning so we can get this step out of the way.

Please help us to continue helping those that knock on our doors!

To foster to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/pet-adoption-application-form

To foster ONLY: https://form.jotform.com/Meowchatz/foster-application--acbs

--------------
Foster to adopt homes are limited to an 80 mile radius of Adams, NY and pets must be taken to our vets office for care until adoption.

All pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes. Dogs in the home must come to the meet and greet as well to be sure they will get along with the new pet. Veterinary reference check and adoption donation also required. Check out our homepage for a full list of our adoption requirements.

http://allcreaturesbigandsmall.petfinder.com Prevent pet overpopulation, spay and neuter your pets!
