He's neutered, up to date on all veterinary care, and ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.<br/><br/>Chip is the perfect adventure buddy! He loves off-leash hikes, road trips, trail runs, and playing with dogs of all sizes. When the adventure is over, he's just as happy sleeping in, soaking up the sunshine, or relaxing at home with his favorite people.<br/><br/>Highly intelligent and eager to learn, Chip thrives with a confident, consistent leader. He's clever enough to invent his own fun if left to his own devices, so he enjoys having structure and guidance. In return, you'll have an incredibly loyal companion who's always ready for the next adventure.<br/><br/>Beneath his athletic spirit is a deeply sensitive, soulful dog. Chip has excellent recall, knows Sit, Down, and Place, and is fully crate trained.<br/><br/>One of Chip's sweetest qualities is how much he loves children. Sadly, through no fault of his own, he has been rehomed twice because growing families found they no longer had enough time for him. After being adopted as a puppy and later displaced by another puppy, Chip has understandably developed some insecurity about being left behind. He deserves a family that sees him as a lifelong commitment.<br/><br/>Chip would thrive in a calm, predictable home with active, dog-loving people who work from home or have flexible schedules. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, and he'd absolutely love having another friendly dog to share life with.<br/><br/>To help ensure a successful transition, Chip's adoption includes complimentary training sessions with his trainer. These sessions are designed to transfer his training to his new family and provide a gradual, thoughtful transition, helping Chip feel safe, secure, and confident as he settles into his forever home.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal hiking partner, road-trip sidekick, cuddle buddy, and devoted best friend, Chip is ready to meet you.
