We can admit that there isn’t anything really remarkable about the kid at face value. Even his name evoked strong feelings of “meh.” It’s so easy to forget that every good superhero had a basic name too. Bruce? Peter?! Clark?!? You just don’t get a grasp on how extraordinary this very ordinary looking dog is… until you’ve met him for all of about ten seconds. That's just about enough time for Chip to shine. The guys got skills. For instance, he's INCREDIBLE at not being a puppy. He’s two already! No shredding of shoes or whizzing in the living room! He is a SUPERNATURAL at making friends and being a total bro with anyone. They guy has never met a stranger. Everyone is his friend, regardless of species. Dogs, cats, kids- anything goes. He possesses SUPER HUMAN levels of forgiveness! After losing his first home, coming into rescue heartworm positive and spending very boring but very important lengths of time on kennel rest between needle stabbings, they guy was always happy to see his people. Never angry. Never depressed. Just totally juiced to be "around." He has UNWORLDLY room clearing powers. BOOOOOY HOWDY. We’re talking, paint-peeling, room clearing farts- which I suppose might come in handy this holiday season, depending on your family dynamic. Take it from us, do NOT change his food up. Oof da. ?? ? But he also has PHENOMENAL healing powers! He has defeated the pesky heartworm villains! And they took the farts with them! He lost a fair amount of weight during heartworm treatment but packed it back on like the best of us this time of year. His flaky, itchy skin is no more. He’s got traits like any good superhero does, but like all those characters, there’s a tinge of underlying angst. Chip has everything but a home to call his own. There's no doubt this boy and his amazing ways will make some family the luckiest, most super family EVER.
