His adopter should be looking for an active dog, one who plays fetch is a must & a Lifelong companion. Chip has only lived in quiet homes with adults. He likes belly rubs. He is a quiet dog except when playing ball, sometimes, he'll bark. Chip is well behaved in the home, he hasn't gotten into anything he shouldn't. As for other dogs, he has been Fostered with other dogs & gets along with them well, but he would be just fine as an only dog too. Chip's ideal weight is 8.5-9 pounds, he is currently 10.4 & on a diet! He'll come with food to continue the road of good nutrition! Your Veterinarian must confirm with K9LLR that your past/ present dogs Heartworm Testing is up to date & Preventative has been purchased/scripted along with current Rabies. Call your Veterinarian Before applying to give permission for them to release information to K9LLR & check that all their records are complete & accurate.<br/><br/>Some of our dogs & puppies are mixed breeds & in most cases we do not know who their parents were. We do our best to properly Breed ID our pups, however we cannot be 100% sure of any mix breed.<br/><br/>All puppies & dogs have had a wellness exam by a licensed Veterinarian. They are healthy to the best of our knowledge & come with a Certified Health Certificate (CVI). All adult dogs are heartworm tested & have had spay or neuter surgery. Dental surgery is done on dogs with severe dental disease. Most PUPPIES Will need continued Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a Rabies Vaccine & deworming, this is the adopters responsibility.
