Chip's Story

To Meet this Dog, Submit an Application at K9LifeLine.com

Chip is a Happy-Go-Lucky guy who's always up for some ball fetching, running & sniffing around the yard. Chip has been friendly with all he's met. He is just under 2 years old. Chip has an outgoing, playful personality. He's also pretty entertaining when you're playing with him. VIDEOS Available. His adopter should be looking for an active dog, one who will throw a ball or KONG is a must & a Lifelong companion. Indoors he'll chew on Nylabones & chase his toys. He is also a couch potato/lap dog, hanging out with you or in his bed, he's a pretty flexible dog as long as he gets his daily fetching fix! Chip has only lived in homes with adults, however he would be fine with kids over 8. He is a quiet dog for the most part with the exception of playing ball, sometimes he'll bark while spinning around! Chip is Housebroken, Crate Trained AND well behaved in the home, he hasn't gotten into anything he shouldn't! He's Such a Good little boy :) All the hard training work is already Done for you!

As for other dogs, he has been Fostered with other dogs of all sizes & gets along with them fine, but he would be quite happy as an only dog getting all the attention. He has been Fostered around horses. Chip is a purebred Chihuahua. He has the cutest ears, he has 3 looks, down ears, up ears & one up, one down! Chip is white with a couple light colored orange spots on his body with freckles on his ears. Grooming is minimal, a bath at home when needed along with a KONG Zoom Groom for quick brushing in between. Chip's ideal weight should remain at 7.5-8.0 pounds. He'll come with food to continue the road of good nutrition! Chip is learning how to take treats nicely.
