Chip's Story

ADOPTION OF A PUPPY UNDER 9 MONTHS OF AGE

The dog you are interested in is a puppy (under a year old). We have criteria for our adoptions of puppies. Puppies are adopted on a foster-to-adopt basis until the puppy is old enough to be neutered/spayed (we prefer them to be no younger than 7 months for females and 9 months for males). Houses with pools must demonstrate that puppies can be protected from the pool with fencing or a cover. Home visits for shots will be required, so puppies are adopted to homes in Maricopa County only. Puppies often have multiple potential adopters, so SPR evaluates what home is best matched with any given puppy and their expected home needs once they have grown.

Meet Chip!

Looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and make sure he is always the center of attention? Meet Chip!

Chip is an approximately 5-month-old Belgian Malinois and the bigger, lighter-colored half of the brother duo, Chip & Dale.

Chip is goofy, playful, curious, confident, social and affectionate. And when we say goofy, we mean it! One of his favorite moves is jumping right on top of his brother Dale and trying to ride him. Apparently, walking beside your brother is just too ordinary for Chip!

This boy is also VERY food motivated and treat obsessed, which is a great combination when it comes to training. Chip responds well to correction and guidance, especially when there might be a treat involved. He's eager to learn and ready for a family who will continue giving him the structure and training a young Malinois needs.

Chip is energetic and outgoing, loves exploring, and is even curious about water. Most of all, he loves being involved in whatever his people are doing. If there's something happening, Chip would very much like to be right in the middle of it!

Chip is still a young puppy with lots to learn, but he has so much potential. With training, exercise, patience and plenty of love, this silly boy is going to make someone an incredible companion.

If you're looking for adventure, affection, laughter and a little bit of puppy chaos, Chip might just be your guy!

Apply today to meet Chip and discover why everyone who meets her falls in love! https://savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/
