Because she was suffering from rickets and was very weak at the time, surgery was not an option. Thankfully, her fractures have been healing well on their own, and this determined little girl hasn't let any of it stop her.<br/><br/>Today, China is enjoying life like a puppy should. She's taking walks, playing, exploring, and soaking up all the attention and love she can get.<br/><br/>As China continues to grow and become stronger, she is expected to need orthopedic surgery in the future.
