Chim Chim's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I'm Chim Chim 'cause I'm twice the fun.

My personality is outgoing, intelligent and sweet. As you can see in my pictures I'm a 4 month old heeler mix. I will be a medium size dog based on the puppy calculator (30-40 lbs).
I'm working on potty training, walk well on a leash and am learning basic commands.
Since I'm a herding dog, training and exercise will be important for my mental health and yours. I'm super motivated by praise and treats, so training will be easy.

My favorite times are play time and snuggle time. I love being near my people, and sleep quietly all night on a bed in my foster mom's room. I especially love balls, chews and toys. I love playing with my furry fosters and the 7 year old I live with. I'm tolerant of dog savvy cats and the squirrels don't really interest me.

I do have a medical condition called mitral valve regurgitation, which is a common canine heart condition. That means I won't be quite as active as most heeler pups would be, and eventually I may need medication. Otherwise, it will have very little impact on my health or day to day life.

If you’d like to meet me, fill out an application at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
