Chili

Hi, I'm Chili! I am a middle-aged puggle mix (maybe 8 years old?). I am about 23 lbs, so I am a little guy.<br/><br/>I spent my life living outdoors in a kennel with other small dogs. I should be adopted to a home with another dog, ideally a confident and friendly dog, so that I can continue to gain confidence. I live with other dogs from 20 lbs to 100 lbs and do well with all. <br/><br/>I am a happy boy and wag my tail and bounce around, but I am lower energy in general. I will be content to lay on a dog bed or couch most of the day. I am still learning that people aren't so scary, so I need a patient adopter who will keep working with me and give me time and space to come out of my shell. <br/><br/>I haven't met any kids but kids would need to understand that I won't want to cuddle- I will probably run and hide if there is too much action or someone approaches too quickly. I do just fine with cats. I currently need a fenced yard as I am working on leash walking, but will easily go in and out of the house to get to the fenced yard. I am not destructive when left home outside of a crate unsupervised, but I have traveled in the car in a crate. If you are looking for a chill buddy to work with and help build confidence, that's me!
