Chili's Story

Chili is a 40 lb dog in foster in Tumwater,. WA

https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/

to apply to adopt.

She was saved from the TX kill list and was a shelter favorite especially with the play groups. She loves other dogs and likely would be best in a home with at least one other playful dog.

CHILI is a 1yo female, Australian Cattle Dog mix.; 39#. (DOB estimated to be 8/5/26). She is house trained; leash trained, rides well in the car; loves people, men and women. She is good with children...8 and older. Her activity level is about 5 (a scale of 1-10) with her favorite to play be with rope toys and the other dogs. She is quite smart and learns easily. She loves other dogs and usually leaves the cats along. She would be great at the doggy daycare. She would do better with a home yard to run and play but she is loving and could live without a yard. We suggest that she be kenneled if left at home alone. CHILI can be a wonderful companion for the house with kids or a couple...OR... someone that wants to go for an adventure. She’s a great dog.

Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You
will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received.

Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation.

If you have any questions please email us at shaynesrescue@gmail.com

You can also go to our Facebook page...
https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/

Shayne's Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please understand we spend all of our available resources and time saving dogs from death. We are all volunteers. Please fill out an application if you have an interest as then we can approve you to adopt any pup/dogs from us. There is no point in sending in an inquiry w/o an application, as we cannot consider someone or have them meet a dog until we have approved your application. You can ask questions in the application. We think we are most reasonable to adopt from, all we ask is you will provide a loving and supportive home as a pet guardian for the dogs entire life. If something major unforeseen occurs you will always return the dog to us, never to a shelter or anyone else. If the dog is ever to go anywhere but back to us, we do need to approve that person/family beforehand.
