Chili's Story
Chili is an approximately five year old dog with a handsome look and a gentle, soulful presence. He was first rescued from a euthanasia list in 2020 and thrived in foster care, enjoying neighborhood walks, splashing in the pool with his foster dog sister, and staying close to his people.

He later went to what seemed like a permanent home, but changes in the household, including the arrival of a new puppy, created stress and uncertainty for him. It was not the relaxed Chili everyone knew, so he returned to foster care to decompress and regain his confidence.

His goofy, playful side still appears once he feels safe. Chili does best in a calm, predictable environment with routine, where he can relax and rebuild trust. He enjoys gentle walks, time in the yard, and quiet companionship with his person.
He is fully house trained, fully vetted, and ready for a home. Chili would thrive in a peaceful, animal free home with no young children and a secure fenced yard, where he can move at his own pace without added stress.

For someone looking for a loyal companion who responds beautifully to consistency and patience, Chili has so much love to offer once he settles in. His story still has many good chapters ahead. He just needs the right person to help him write them.
