He loved neighborhood walks, playing with his doggie foster sister, swimming in the pool, and soaking up affection. He was a charming, happy guy who found a loving home with everything he could have asked for or so we thought.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Chili was returned to us under heartbreaking circumstances. After his adoptive family brought home a new puppy, things changed for him. He seemed stressed and unsure around the new dog and became increasingly uncomfortable with unfamiliar people in his home. This wasn&#39;t the Chili we knew. While we suspect something shifted in his environment, what we know for sure is that Chili needed us again and we didn&#39;t hesitate to say yes.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Despite everything, Chili still has those flashes of his goofy, playful self. When he trusts you, his silly personality shines through reminding us just how special he really is. He just needs time, patience, and a safe space to feel secure again.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Chili is looking for a calm, animal-free home with a securely fenced yard and no young children. He feels most comfortable when he knows what to expect. He is house-trained, fully vetted, and ready for someone to show him that love doesn&#39;t have to hurt.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>We believed in Chili once, and we believe in him now.
