Chief's Story
Chief came to us as an injured stray through our local police department. He had a severe head injury that sadly resulted in the loss of his 1 and some slight scarring in his other eye.
But don't be concerned, Chief certainly hasn't. He is a happy, outgoing bundle of joy who would be great in a home with other dogs. He also gets along well with cats and even larger animals.
Due to his energy level he really needs playful outgoing dogs or puppies and probably would not do well in a sedate or senior home. This boy is enjoying life.

Chief is is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his vaccines and has his basic training including crate training.

He loves to go for rides and enjoys all adventures. He's small enough for traveling even on an airplane.
One thin we are requiring is a secure yard for his primary home. For him the world is an adventure and he wants to go explore it every chance he can. Since he was found as a stray, we want to make sure that he never becomes a stray again.

His adoption fee is $550 and helps to ensure that we can continue to save and medically care for injured dogs that come into our rescue program like chief.

If you are interested in adopting him visit our website at valhallareescue.org and submit an online application.

Thank you so much for looking at Chief and looking at rescues for your next forever companion.
